Looking for feedback on RE NXT Marketing Email

Hello! We're about to start using RE NXT's marketing email tool for Giving Tuesday next month, and looking for feedback from community users about any pros and cons in comparision to other non-RE NXT programs such as Campaigner.

Hi Yasmin - NXT Email Marketing is very easy to use, especially for build and send emails. My main complaint is that it is difficult to group together who received the email and responses - this particular filter does not exist within Constituent Lists. The only way to see who say ’Opened’ an email is within web view - directly in the constituent record or by manually creating a lists within Marketing > Email > All emails sent. Let me know if you have any questions, I am happy to share my experience.

  • you need to check out the posts about what happens when someone unsubscribes through an email sent from NXT Email Marketing. NXT marks the constituent with a flag so you can't add them back in to get other emails. You have to contact Blackbaud to do so. I would use with caution….the flag also overrides any solicit coding you may have.

  • One thing I noticed with the NXT emails is that you can't view it as a webpage so I can't link it on our webpage like you could in etapestry. Do you know how we can do that? I also am disappointed that we can't tell which links within the email people click on. Has anyone found a work around for these two issues?

  • @Beka Rich This is a serious flaw. Not only do we not have a link for a sent email, we can't see it at all! The only way to see what was sent is to copy the sent email to a new one.
