1099 processing - alphanumeric characters only?

Since when are we limited to only alphanumeric characters in a 1099 vendor name? Aatrix is kicking these out during validation and not allowing further processing until “corrected”. Has anyone else encountered this? Do we now have to go back and edit all vendor names that include an ampersand or a comma or a period in them? I do not recall this ever being an issue in previous years.

    I found the same to be true. I corrected all of mine in accounts payable as Aartix pulls from that in information. Then I started all over.

    I believe this was a change from last year.

    I ran into this too – you can also just correct them in the Aatrix module if you don't want to go in and change all the vendor records.
