How do I combine constituent revenue on a giving report to show as a total donation sum (one line) versus listing each each donation for a constituent. So one total for Sue Smith versus 7 individual donations for Sue Smith. Current setup is shown in the image attached

  • Hi Sheryl - I believe you will need to change your query a little to get that SUM information. Here's a screenshot of a query I built that shows the changes you will want to make in the “Results Fields to Display” section.

    In this section, click the AMOUNT field so it is highlighted, then click the SUMMARIZE button and select SUM from the dropdown selections. This will show the summarized about per Designation reported. If you just want to to know a sum and not per designation, delete the DESIGNATION LIST from the “Results Fields to Display” section.

  • After a good night's sleep I figured out the Date field was the problem. Once I removed Date I got a single line item for each constituent. Thank you!

  • And you can also make a Smart Field (for example 2021 Giving) and then export that value.
