Online PDFs In Financial Edge

My initial reaction is that unless they are uploaded to something like a shared folder on your computer, OneDrive, or Dropbox first, then no you would not be able to take them with you.

My process for uploading is that I scan to a folder set up specifically for this purpose. I scan invoices then attach the PDFs to the invoice entry. I then delete to empty the folder. If we thought that we might need them later, we might consider not deleting them.

To get the PDFs that you have in Blackbaud, you would need to open each one individually and download them. I don't think anyone would want to do that.

For now we run a dual paper and electronic system. The paper is there simply because it exists, but we mostly rely on the electronic version for day to day purposes. The paper has a retention policy that keeps us from accumulating too much.
