Posting in NXT

Will there be a time when we will be able to use filters for posting A/P, Cash Receipts, etc.? The system picks up what we have saved in the data base view, but there is no way to manipulate it. Almost always have to go to data base view for posting.

    I have different posting parameters for what I want to look at. They are the same ones that are in database view. Are you saying that the posting parameters in database view are not the same in NXT for you?

    I have different post parameters, as well, in the data base view. What I am running into is not being able to drill down or utilize other filters. We have 4 programs using the software and sometimes, depending on what filters are or are not set things are being pulled in from other staff/programs, so I am forced to go to the data base view to apply additional filters, etc.

    Ah, ok. I did set up parameters in database views with specific filters and then in NXT I select from there. I do not edit parameters each time I post.

    Hey Sylvia,

    I think Lori means, in Webview you can't add or edit the saved parameters. SO if you need to change a filter, or find something like we would in DB view, Webview still can't do that. IT means opening up DB view and going to that module and looking at your saved parameter to see the filters and making changes. Lori wants to know when / if we'll get this same ability in Webview. Certainly would be helpful.

    I save multiple queries in database view that I use as filters depending on the need.

    I find it more efficient to do posting routines in database view as a result.
