Add-in on donation confirmation not loading

My add-in is registering, but not displaying or processing code. What is worse is the only way to test is to process a LIVE TRANSACTION. Whenever I attempt a “demo” transaction that won't charge me, it says merchant service login is invalid, but the live form charges my card just fine so I've spent $25 trying to troubleshoot this issue already! This is utterly ridiculous!

I'm happy to see you are exploring the Donation Form Add-in! However, we certainly do not intend for you to have to process live transactions in order to further your development and troubleshoot.

I'd love to see if we can't figure out why you're unable to utilize Demo or Test mode in your BBMS Payment Configurations for this work.

I ultimately racked up $50 worth of transactions before the environment owner was able to get in touch with Blackbaud support, but they resolved the issue very quickly.

I am sorry to hear that. The environment owner should be able to issue refunds for those payments either through the Gift record in RE NXT web view or from the BBMS portal.

We'll look at making sure there is a note in the developer documentation with a link to these KBs to hopefully prevent this from happening moving forward.
