Do any of you manage monthly sponsorships through RENXT? We are in the process of implementing and want to determine the best way handle a large number of sponsors and donors with lots of recurring transactions.

    We don't have monthly sponsorships but do run our monthly donor program through NXT. In fact, part of our strategy to growing our monthly giving program was to migrate it to NXT because those transactions automatically run and drop into a webview batch which can be easily committed. Even with some additional cleanup in database view (if needed) it still save so much more time than running the recurring gifts outside of RE and then bringing them in. It is super easy to change recurring gifts (i.e. amount, credit card, etc) and donors love the fact that they can choose any day of the month to have the gift withdrawn. Before, because of the more manual process, we only offered recurring gifts on the 1st and 15th.

    Thank you so much for your response! Do your donors ever “pay ahead” for any of your recurring gifts? We have lots of donors who are paid ahead, and we want to make sure we set up correctly from the beginning.
