Reporting on Mailed Appeals for List of Donors

Does anyone know a way where you can export the last mailed appeal on a list of donors?

I know how to find out if a specific appeal was mailed but not sure how to determine the last appeal in bulk (obviously I could look up each record separately and see)

    Do you have the list of donors with their Const. ID's? If so, upload them into a query and then attached it to an export with the field appeal in your output. Did you put a date on your Appeal?

    I'm following what you are saying and export info that way often. What I'm trying to figure out though is the last mailed appeal - which could be any of 100s appeals so I do not want to have individual columns for each one. Hmmmmm….I wonder if this would work - select all appeals and sort by date mailed (we do populate that field). Gonna try that - will report back here if it works in case anyone else needs to figure this out as well.

  • Nope - it does not let you sort by anything for assigned appeals. Bummer because that might have solved this for me.

  • In Query, you could sort by Assigned Appeal Date. If you are able to define a time period for the appeal date criteria it would limit the number of appeals pulled, and a list of constituent IDs would also limit the list.

    If any of the Appeal reports would come close to your needs, then you could include the above query in the appeal report and choose to sort by query order under the format tab.

    Not perfect by any means, but maybe it would get you close to what you need.
