Credit Card Feeds

Is anyone else having issues with credit card feeds refreshing? I just did a successful refresh and it shows updated thru March 4. It normally refreshes thru the previous day.

  • I just checked and looks like our feed refreshed fine.

    I remember CC feed not refreshing in the past, but many people were affected. I would start a support call, and if anyone else is having a problem hopefully they reply here and start calling support as well.

    We have had intermittent failures to refresh credit card feeds for years. I get everything linked, it works fine for a month or so, and then fails again. I'm currently in an open case with Support, because we can't download transactions from ANY of our 9 credit cards, since Jan 17, 2022. The BB rep thinks it's Yodlee, but I also think the engineers who are contantly re-designing the NXT interface, have broken something - because in early January, all of our cards were linked and working just fine. Now, I get a banner saying NONE of them are linked - however if I try to re-link them, I get a pile of Yodlee errors. Our bank feeds are correct when I log in and look at them. But transactions haven't downloaded now for 2 months, and a co-worker has been manually putting these into the AP vendor system, which is beyond tedious.

    I figured out how to download the transactions directly from our bank into csv files. I could convert those into import files for FE, but how do I import them into the AP system so that the vendors get updated? This is the part Yodlee seems to be crucial for - if I could update AP with an import, we wouldn't need Yodlee at all.

  • We haven't had a successful feed since Jan 23, 2022. It says it's successful, but it won't refresh any transactions past Jan 23. Our 40 credits cards are through a local bank which is serviced through mycardstatement.com. We've had this happen several times before, and it eventually resolved after a week or so. It's never gone on this long. I have an open case with BB, but not much progress is being made. Our 40 credits cards are through a local bank which is serviced through mycardstatement.com. I'm thinking that mycardstatement.com is not particularly mainstream. I'm wondering if mycardstatement.com makes changes and Yodlee doesn't catch up to those changes. I'm curious if this issue occurs with more mainstream cards. I'm trying to decide if it's time to change credit cards.

  • You are very lucky! We have had an open case due to our credit card feeds not updating for well over half a year.

  • Roberta, We have had the same issue with BB credit card feed since January - not refreshing. What bank do you use? We use Bank of America. Since AP is manually putting them in AP are you asking the users for the receipts and attaching them in AP

  • Same here. Intermittent feed errors for almost a year, and now our credit card feed window has completely disappeared from FE NXT. We have two open cases with BB. Very frustrating!

  • We are new to BB since December of 2021. We haven't had a ton of success with credit card feeds either. We had a bunch of feed errors where transactions were coming up for incorrect card holders, feed were not successfully coming through, duplicate charges were showing up. I tried relinking and had to abandon because it created duplicate credit card holders. We have had several tickets and several different people “looking into it” and we are still experiencing issues. We have to manually input the transactions that don't come through the CC feed in AP. It is frustrating that these issues don't seem to be getting resolved, and at this point they have stopped communicating with us about them. We were also hoping to enable the Expense Management module, but with the credit card feed issues, not sure how that would be possible.

  • We have been using the Credit Card feeds since 2018 and continue to have the same issues. Every month we need to do a reconciliation before we tell our users to submit their charges. Same issue as you - duplicate charges, charges appearing with the wrong user, cards not coming through at all, etc….. Blackbaud blames Yodlee. Yodlee blames the credit card company (we use FirstBank), and nobody solves the issues. The support of this application is atrocious. And I agree, it does not look like anyone on the Blackbaud side is doing anything to fix this. In my opinion, Blackbaud needs to get rid of Yodlee and find a new provider. Yikes - sorry for the vent.

  • Thank you so much for providing this feedback, Kim! Sometimes it helps to know that we are not alone. Since we are new to the system, we weren't sure if it was “user” error, and we were doing something wrong or if the problem was beyond our control. We really just wanted someone to tell us that the issue existed, and we needed to work around it, so we could just move on instead of waiting for it to get resolved. So, thank you so much for providing that feedback! We have now moved on and figured out some work arounds.

    On that note I am curious, Kim, sounds like you have the expense management module enabled. Is that correct? Also, curious how do you reconcile before telling your user to submit charges? We need to figure out how to do that so we can enable our expense management module as well. Any helpful hints you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
