FE Updates
What is going on with FE?
The updates that have been implemented recently has made the software so glitchy and not user-friendly AT ALL. What used to take me 30 seconds to complete now takes 3 minutes. The interface is clunky and the pages do not stay customized like they are supposed to. I hate to sound so critical, but these updates have only made using this software much worse. Am I the only one having issues??

You definitely are not the only one. It seems like every day it is something new that has changed, and most of it has not been for the better. If you browse through the Community, you will see lots of complaints about different modules and problems people are having.

Yeah. It's rough. Though, I have to say, the general direction is much appreciated. I like the ability to see more data at once, cleared journal entries and invoices, etc. That being said, there's lots and lots of bugs (some have been fixed). I suspect these bugs will be fixed, and the final result will be much better than it was, but it's currently a major step backwards in productivity.
I'm being hopeful!

I hope that you are correct! This has really affected how fast I can get things done.

There are noticeable welcome improvements but it takes a little of getting used to that makes it a bit of struggle right now.

I actually just started looking at other posts. I have never posted anything on here before today. However, it does makes me feel better that other users are facing the same issues. I do not feel like I am losing my mind anymore! ?

I have had a lot of issues with the new updates as well, causing me to have to redo work, void payments, all kinds of things. I've tried to use their chat function as well, but it doesn't seem like the chat people really know what's happening either. It's been extremely frustrating.

We are too! Is anyone have general windows navigation issues since the upgrade? I like to switch between Blackbaud, excel, pdf's, email, etc…. and my screen gets stuck on Blacbaud. I have to minimize BB to switch the another application. Such a pain!

I am having the same issues. The person on chat told me to delete my cookies and cache and it should work better. Sure, it works faster for an hour or so and then slows down to almost a halt again right after. I shouldn't have to clear them multiple times a day. It clears out other things I am logged into to and that is just not acceptable multiple times a day.

Same here!!! It is unbearable to work in NXT. I created a help desk ticket with no resolution.

Yes! Unfortunately, I have heard that the service tickets submitted for majority of these issues have no resolution either. I hope they fix the mess that has been created soon.

I understand that and have actually tried the same thing with the exact same result. I use MFA for all of my logins and when I clear my cookies and cache, they all make me jump through a ton of hoops to get access back into the accounts.

I was also told to clear my cache and cookies (due to the thing where checks will print in some random order instead of alphabetical), and it accomplished nothing. A few weeks after I got a “resolution” email that I can apparently fix it in Database view, but with no instructions on how to actually achieve that.
I've kind of given up on Blackbaud ever helping with anything, to be honest. Feels like we're on our own.
