FE NXT Bank Draft Number

Default bank draft number has changed. The last one used was four-digits but now it appears to be 9 digits. Why has this changed?

    Someone typed it in, and then the next one generated from that. Go to Banks, payments and then in the bank draft you can change the “start with” number

    Interesting. I'm the only one who uses FE and I definitely didn't change the default number. Thanks.

    There is something going on with NXT. Default check numbers have also changed to become a totally random number.

    Most definitely. I contact support and they said it's due to the default number in database view. I changed it in database view, processed the payment. When I went to generate another draft number it gave me a totally different number.

    Ohyong the same thing happened to me. I changed the starting check number in database view, and printed the check. When I went in later to print more checks though, the starting number was totally different again.

    This is still an issue for us. We need to check and renumber our starting payment number each week. Quite frustrating. Both in nxt and database.

    Yes, it's still an issue with us as well. I've been communicating with support. Hope to see a fix quickly.
