column widths in new screens

Has anyone figured out how to or know if it's possible to set the column widths in the new bank register and journal entry screens?

I just tried it and the only solution that I can offer on the check register is eliminate some of the columns that are showing. I know that I typically only have 7 and it makes it much more screen friendly, but I still have to expand the payee column to see all of the names.

I have nothing for the Journal entry except on the account name you could to hover over it and pop out the full name, like it used to do before.

I have not found out how to keep the width for the journal entry screens. It is very aggravating to have to change the widths to what I want each time I get into it and enter lines. The widths are either too long or too short for what I need. It would be great if the widths could be set and kept the length wanted. I hope this gets changed very soon!
