We're trying to grow our monthly (recurring) giving program, and are curious what other Altru orgs are using to manage recurring gift programs. Are you using the built in web forms for donations, or are you using a 3rd party tool?

    We do you use Altru to manage our recurring giving. And we do use the Web Forms Donation page to process new folks (if they come in from the website).

    One thing I think about with the Web Forms Donation page is that the suggested giving amounts do not change as a person adjusts the giving frequency. You know how you can give the donor options to make a gift a one-time gift or a monthly gift (or quarterly or whatever)? The suggested giving amounts will remain the same even when the frequency changes.

    I found that challenging because I may not want to suggest for the same amounts on a one-time gift versus a monthly recurring gift. So for our main monthly giving program, I created two designations for it (an annual designation and a monthly designation). Having the two designations allows me to have two different Web Forms Donation pages for this program. And then depending on the situation, we'll route people to the appropriate Web Forms page.
