Search by Alias for AP Vendor in NXT

Does anyone know if this is possible? If not, what are best practices other companies are using for entities that are doing business as a name different than that on their W-9??

    You need to make sure the DBA is listed in the vendor name somewhere. Sorry I can't remember off the top of my head, but I think there is a vendor ID and a vendor name. If you put the Owner in the vendor ID and the DBA in the vendor name, I think it pulls it up and you can search for the DBA and it should find it.

    @Taylor Gagne Did you ever find a resolution n for this? We are in the same situation and with database being phased out I need to figure out a solution soon

    @Taylor Gagne Will the Payee Name field in the vendor record in NXT work for this? I kind of assumed this is what it is for but haven't tried it out.
