Removed Prospects still showing up under previous Prospect Manager

We are running into an issue where, after a Prospect Manager is removed from a constituent's profile page, that same constituent is still pulling into a list that queries current prospects for that same manager. The prospect manager's name also shows up on the constituent's membership page in the “Additional Details” tile, even though the prospect manager has been removed. Has anyone else come across this?

    I am seeing the same thing. I'm seeing the most recent prospect manager. I ran a few test queries and noticed two other things:

    I am not seeing the historical information. In my query, I pulled two records that have had multiple prospect managers over time. I am only seeing the most recent manager in my results. So, it seems, that I can't pull a list for a previous prospect manager (like a "who managed this prospect three years ago" type query).

    And I can't really understand what the Prospect Manager Date From and Prospect Manager Date To fields mean. I see the Prospect Start Date and Prospect End Date fields, but they really do seem connected to the Prospect Manager name info. It's weird.

    But you are correct. I am seeing what you're seeing, Glenn. I'm interested to learn if this is some type of glitch that the Altru team will correct or if this is the system operating as designed.

    You will need to add the criteria of Prospect Manager End Date is blank in your query. This way it does not pull any prospect manager who has an end date.

    We also experience this, although Blackbaud claims that the issue has been resolved in version 5.10. I've tediously, but successfully, used the 14-step procedure in this article to repair each constituent record:

    Hi @Gail Vincent,

    That's interesting. I haven't heard of that. Just to clarify, you still lose the prospect manager history, right? Doing this crazy 14 step method, I would not be able to see that Alex was the prospect manager in 2018, Morgan was the prospect manager in 2019, and then Karen has been the prospect manager from 2020 until now. Do I have that right?

    @Chris Nungesser,

    We haven't needed to query on previous prospect managers, just the ones who are supposed to be currently assigned. I did discover that when you go through the process and successfully remove the “Major giving prospect” constituent code, the Prospect tab disappears from the constituent record. If you add the constituent code again, the Prospect tab returns, with all of the history that was there before. I hope that helps!
