Allowing candidates to request multiple online teacher recommendations

We have been using the online recommendation form feature since it was released, but as I begin to update things for the next admissions cycle, I want to confirm something about adding Online Rec Forms to Checklists. Am I correct in seeing that you cannot have two steps in a candidate checklist which use the same online recommendation form? For most entering grades, we require only one teacher recommendation, but we want to give families the option of requesting a second (optional) recommendation from another teacher. I understand that we'll need a separate checklist step for this. But for that second online rec checklist step (maybe called “Optional Additional Teacher Rec”), the Recommendation Form already used for the previous checklist step does not appear as an option in the Recommendation Form dropdown list. It seems we have to create a duplicate online rec form with a different name in order for the form to be available from the drop-down list for the second (i.e., optional) online teacher rec step of the checklist. Just want to confirm that this is the case. And kind of curious why that is.
