Daily advisory Teams Meeting for students

Our asst head of school wants to do a live Teams meet every morning during advisory for announcements. Does anyone do a similar thing? I see two questions:

  • how should we post this so it pops up on everyone's schedule with the Teams link everyday?
  • where's the best place to put a daily recap of the announcements on Blackbaud?

    @Sara White We don't do Teams meetings, so I can't comment on the first part of that. But when we have our announcement time and we want to have a spot students can go to re-read or catch up on them if they were absent is a community group. We have a community group called “Student Center” that we created. It's a Smart Group that automatically has all faculty and current students members of it. So that is where the students go to find information and we have faculty post important things there that everyone might need. For example, a link to an application for student council or something like that.

    @Sara White - when we were remote - we created Events within each class Bulletin Board. The Event could be recurring and the detail contained a link to open the Video Conference tool. I believe this appeared on the student and teacher schedules - but that was in the Spring of 2020 - things could have changed.
