Erroneous billing notifications going out

We activated the Upcoming Payment Due notification for the first time, and emails went out to all students with an outstanding balance, not just those with an upcoming due date. Some with past due balances from last November received a “Payment Due in -328 Days” message. Is anyone else having this issue or getting clear guidance from Blackbaud on how these notifications and their audiences are configured?

    It did the same thing to me the first time I activated the Past Due Balance. Momma Mia, the amount of emails I recieved after that faux pas. Are you sure it was an upcoming Balance Due, not the Past Due Balance?
