Official Notes - WD student

I cannot add an “official note” for a student who has been withdrawn ... is this correct? Is there a “work around”??? Or can this change be considered, please.

NOTE: when our “rep” was on campus few summers back, helping us set up everything, including our student classifications (first year, second year, etc.) we did a “withdrawn” classification. But it seems to not be recognized – it does not “work” when using it as a filter in lists and although I see it checked in the various note options as an option to be able to add a note, I cannot.

    It looks like you can only add an official note to a current student. Once a student is withdrawn, he /she becomes a past student; You cannot import official notes for past or graduated students. This is very inconvenient; we should be able to add official notes to any student - past or present, or there should be another note type that can be added to any record.
