Missing basic Event API endpoints - New participant (all events), Find event by Lookup ID, Participant Custom fields...

Is it me or is the Event API missing some standard features? Can't see equivalents in the webhooks APIs either...


Simple stuff like find event by Lookup ID - you can specify the Lookup ID when adding an event but not search for events by Lookup ID.

You can't monitor for new/updated participants across all your events, you have to specify which event you want to monitor which makes generic integrations impossible.

On top of that participant custom fields are completely missing, can't read or add/update them.


Any idea when this lot will be appearing? And please don't ask me to add to the Idea bank - they just go missing in there.

    Hi Warren,


    Today, the API only supports what is currently available to work with within the RENXT UI. As we add new features to the UI like search by lookup ID or custom field support, we will add API support as well. I don't have a timeline I can share for our next additions to the Events API but I will keep these items in mind as we build out some of our next steps.

    @Warren Sherliker Has there been any update on getting event participant list filtered by CONSTITUENT ID? Looking to do exactly that. I've opened a topic specifically about that and linked to your message. Thanks

    @Samantha McGuin The API endpoint must exist as you can see a list of event participations on the constituent record page… It think it must have just been missed off when the API was made public???

    @Neil Marshall Not that I can see but see my reply to Samantha - the endpoint must exist due to the tile on the constituent record.
