Is there a way to email an individual student and have it show up on their communications tab or is that just for pushpages?

Is there anyway for BBEM to receive emails to an address e.g. Summer@myschool.edu and associate it with a students communications log?

    @Jennifer Welch if you message a student from EM, those do show up under the “View communications” log.

    I'm not sure I fully understand your second question. Can you clarify a bit?

    @Susan Ott I think I know the answer but my question is if you email a student from a Roster e.g. using their school email will it appear on their Communications log?

    @Jennifer Welch not if you choose “send via email”. However, if you choose to send the message from EM, AND you have the student's email listed on their contact card, AND you have Messages checked under their Notifications settings, it should then log the message under Communications. You can also set up the notification email from Messages to include the actual message so they do not have to log in to view (only to respond).
