Student's Seeing overall Average

Hey all,

Since we are in a school that does report a final grade at the end of the year where all skills are brought together into a single grade, we are trying to come up with ways to help our students, at a glance see where they stand. Ideally Blackbaud would have an average at the bottom of the learning progression for students such as in the idea below, but in the meantime, I was curious how other schools help their students understand where they stand for a final grade, as, even as teachers, we have had to export all the data, clean it up, toss it into a spreadsheet and have the spreadsheet work “magic” to get a final grade for the end of the year. How are other schools working with this?

We use the mastery data export & then perform workaround magic to get a summary of skills demonstrated - only difference is that we've gone to python scripts versus the excel pivot table route. Would love to see CBE reporting/report cards/transcripts become as robustly supported as they are for number and letter grades.
