Curious about what other schools do in terms of withdrawing students who have completed the school year. For example, if a student finishes the 2021-22 school year - do you withdraw them in that school year or the following? There seem to be pros and cons to each. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

    @Sara Wood We usually withdraw them for the following year- 2022-2023. This past year, we accidently did the current school year and we lost the grades until we corrected the mistake.

    Thank you! That seems to be the biggest drawback of withdrawing them from the current year.

    @Sara Wood I also had to learn the hard way with grades being incorrectly effected. Our school year starts with summer school in June so I am just careful to withdraw once the previous semester two term end date is passed and grades are all in. I then use the Effective Immediately and use same date for Depart date.
