Sharing a Bulletin Board Template Across Advisories

Is there a way to create and then share a template for an Advisory (or any Group) Bulletin Board so it is accessible across all Advisory sections and then individual Advisors can customize as they wish?

    @Jennifer Welch You can set the default layout for Bulletin Boards by going to Academics>Content>Class Pages>Bulletin Board Layout. You need to do it ahead of any teacher customization, I believe. More about it here.

    @Nancy Kierstead Thank you. I might not have asked the question properly. There is a default template which you pointed to. What I would like is a Bulletin Board pre-populated with common content types that can be shared across all advisory sections. If an Advisor wishes to customize their Bulletin Board, they can. If not, they have a Bulletin Board that is not blank to start out the year.

    I am coming to think that Content Types (links, photos) can be shared but not an entire Bulletin Board.

    @Jennifer Welch Ahh. Yes. I misunderstood the question. If you are a content editor, manager, or are a leader on the group pages, you can publish content to multiple bulletin boards (or topics pages) all at once. We do this all the time to get information to all LS homeroom pages, for example, or to all MS/US Advisories.

    @Jennifer Welch, I believe that Nancy included it in her last email, but you can create a content editor group for all of your advisory teachers. Then, when they add information to their bulletin board, they have the option at the very bottom to simultaneously add the information to all of the advisory pages as well. Things like announcements, news, etc. can then be added once but show everywhere. It isn't exactly what you want because the system still maintains a separate bulletin board for each advisory, but at least you can keep the information on all of them similar. Plus, it affords the opportunity for particular advisories to still have unique information on their bulletin board that pertains just to their group.

    @Nancy Kierstead wait - you said Homeroom Pages….how do you manage homerooms? We are an elementary school and it looks like our only option is to do an Advisory - Advisors for kindergarteners just sounds creepy….
