Email Tickets from Daily Sales

Hi, I was just reading about the upcoming Altru enhancements and I was wondering what everyone will be doing with this one. We are a smaller Museum so maybe it is not something that we will need. Is this for larger Museums that may have performances with separate tickets?

What are some other things it can be used for?

  • @Tamara Christensen This is a HUGE new benefit. Currently, if someone buys tickets online, they get an email link and can show their ticket on their phone. But if they come in or call to get a ticket, we can only print the tickets for Will Call. This will allow everyone to have eTickets :)

  • @Vicki Cotton if they call in, or if they visit for a future date, we just sell them in advance sales so it sends them a ticket, no? I am just trying to understand in what situation when someone is onsite would you want to email them a ticket?

  • @Maria Reynolds Hi Maria, we don't use Advance sales for everything. our Front desk staff mainly uses Daily Sales
