Donor Segmentation Query

Hello, I'm trying to create a query that allows me to gather constituents who we have in our system but have no yet donated. I have my other criteria selected, but can't figure out what that key item is. Thanks!

Are you creating a constituent query? If so, easiest way to find non-donors IMO is to use summary gift info (near bottom of criteria list). You could do total gift amount $ less than $1 or Total # of gifts equals 0 if you don't put in declines/$0 pledges.

Do you soft-credit / have separate spouse records? If so, you may want to add gift processing option to factor that as well.

Actually if you're just looking for 0 gifts, I use the “last gift date” is blank option. (Assuming there are no criteria to that.)

@Steph Williams Like your suggestion/solution. I'm actually having to pull a number of queries this week where I'm using it.

When I tested against total amount of gift = $0 the pull was different results (apparently some old gifts data affects). When I tested against total # of gifts = 0, pulled same # of records. Last gift is simpler
