Power Automate Flow using Blackbaud SFTP Connector

Hello - I am wondering on whether anyone here can provide some pointers on how to best troubleshoot the Blackbaud SFTP Connector used as part of the Power Automate Flow. My work currently utilizes Power Automate and the SFTP connector to transfer data into Microsoft Shared List for reporting. When the flow fails, it points to a bad gateway error:

When I log into the Power Automate website to look at the flow itself, it'll show a Blackbaud SFTP connector invalid error:

When I see a failed flow message, I would check connection with FileZilla, and it appears that while FileZilla can connect successfully, the flow itself would fail and show bad gateway and invalid BB SFTP connector. I am wondering on how to get proper support or troubleshoot. Anything is appreciated. Thank you.

    Thanks for posting because I have had the same issue for months now and even putting in retries I still don't connect. I don't understand why this is a problem, I hope someone can give us a better solution!

    @Cynthia Cheng We have a system called SmartSYNC that has various connectors including SFTP and is built for Blackbaud products. Does similar things to Power Automate but with way less effort and a lot more essentials like dupe checking etc. Anyway, happy to look into if this would work for you if you email the team support at smartthing.org. It is not way overpriced like some options too btw but you can judge that yourself no doubt!

    I think a lot of people are having trouble with this right now, and I haven't found anything that works consistently yet.

    Two things to check if you haven't already.

    1. The SFTP connector is now deprecated, so you should be using the SFTP - SSH connector instead
    2. Your RE FTP password changes every 45 days, so make sure you've got the most recent one in your connection

    Even with both of those issues addressed, I'm still seeing connections fail intermittently in my tests, and I've seen posts in the Power Automate forums that suggest others are having the same problem. I'm guessing this is something that's going to need to be fixed by Microsoft.

    As for where to get support - because of the nature of this problem I think the only option would be to put in a support ticket with Microsoft.

    One way that was suggested by my organization's internal CIS team is to look into not utilizing SFTP. I've contacted BB customer support and looks like depending on what we are looking for, we may be able to just create queue or use API. All on-going discussion right now. I will come back and share more later.
