Credit Card readers - qwerty scanner

We purchased one of the new readers (since the old free ones aren't supported anymore) and it works, but I had some issues -

I can't tie those donations directly to an event form in Online Express in RE7. That's a problem since at our gala I like to have the “thermometer” on the event give page update as gifts come in.

When I do use the reader, those gifts live in a different place than where the online gifts from forms generated by Online Express live so they are batched differently and separately. I do all of our batches on the database side not in NXT.

By Querty do you mean a QR code? If so - that worked great at our gala! We had QR codes on cards at every table and when guests scanned the code it took them directly to our give page (set up through Online Express) I had about 40 gifts come in that way in a 15 minute time span during the “Fund a Scholar” portion of the program at our event.

@Austen Brown Thanks - and yes, I do that anyway with cash gifts, but it is a frustrating feature of the reader that the payments are held (and batched) separately from those generated through the online form.
