Period Depreciation transactions must be entered sequentially

Can anyone help with this exception? We are new to BB and we are trying to get our Fixed Assets set up correctly. when I ran the depreciation catch up, the exception “Period Depreciation transactions must be entered sequentially” popped up. Do not know where to go from here. Thanks

    @Richard Musto We use mid-month convention so if something is purchased after mid-month, it doesn't get depreciated. We have to manually go in (on the database side) and enter $0 for the period it didn't do anything and Do Not Post in order for it to continue. Not sure why Blackbaud doesn't register a zero value since depreciation was ran on that asset. Hope this helps.
