Removing defunct benefits

I'm trying to edit the Benefits Catalog, because there are a number of benefits listed that we no longer offer. (For example, a free CD with a certain membership level, or a T-shirt for a program that no longer exists). However, I keep getting an error message that says “This benefit is associated with revenue and cannot be deleted.”

I think these benefits came in through an import when we first setup Altru. How do I remove them? They're clogging up my catalog.

    I hear you. This has been on my mind as well. I don't see any way to deactivate a Benefit just to remove it from the list.

    The best idea I have so far (and I'm not super crazy about it) is to Edit the benefit name to put “zz" as a prefix just so it sorts at the bottom of the list.

    Hopefully, we'll figure out something better. But that's all I have at the moment.
