Only half of a bank adjustment posting to register

Has anyone had a bank adjustment only post to one of the account's register's and not the other?

    @Cathi Christopher do you mean a transfer adjustment?

    @Cathi Christopher we have been having the same issue for a few months now. It started with the “MAKE ADJUSTMENT TO BANK REGISTER” becoming unchecked…this even happened when posting the payables subledger so it was not user interference. Then there were a couple of months that only half the month showed up in the bank register. We have a BB consultant that says it is a known issue and then gave us this really convoluted way to take care of it. Needless to say, we did not go that route and just made entries that hit the register without hitting the GL so that we could get the bank recs done.
