NXT Summary Note in Power Automate?

I am hoping that I am missing something, but is there a way to get the summary note from NXT in a flow? In database view this is a specific note type, but it does not appear to be accessible via any of the connectors since they are pulling from NXT and that particular note is in the header section.

@Dan Snyder - It may not be straightforward, but have you tried to generate a note with that specific type from PA? I wonder if it would display in Web View as a summary or a note.

  • @Dan Snyder Unfortunately, this is not available right now but it has come up in the past (here's another Community thread).

The summary note in NXT is just a regular note under the hood with a “system” notepad type type of “RE NXT Summary”. That type shows in dbview → Config → Tables - Notepad types, but the API excludes it from the set of notes returned by ListConstituentNotesSingleConstituent, and the CreateConstituentNote endpoint doesn't allow manually creating a note with that type.

I'll bring this up with the team that owns this area again, but in the meantime, make sure you visit the idea referenced in that other Community thread and vote on it!

Thanks @Ben Lambert and @Austen Brown, voted for the idea.

What I am most hoping to use this for is part of a process to streamline our sending of Presidential acknowledgement letters to the President's office. I have an add-in button that will create the letter and a corresponding action, but part of the letter creation is to include some background information and the summary note would be perfect for those situations.

I have also seen from other users wanting a one-page profile and I would think using the same add-in functionality could provide that and a summary note would be helpful information to include since it is not a full profile.

    My two cents.
