Event Registration Options besides Education Solutions School Website or Raiser's Edge?

I'm looking for suggestions/recommendations for handling event registrations for those events that fall outside of Advancement's sphere. I'm thinking of those situations where the event is so broad that it wouldn't be appropriate or practical to track all the data through Raiser's Edge or the scope is so narrow that the department handling the registrations wouldn't have access to Raiser's Edge.

In other words, there are times where for either technical or personnel reasons, the registrations shouldn't be done through Online Express or RE-NXT Webview.

I'm aware that K-12 Education solutions has an event registration feature through the website product, but we don't use that module. Are there other tools or products that can serve this function within K-12 Education Solutions? Are there other products that integrate with K-12 to capture and track this information? What about paid events?

Or, is your school doing all of this outside of Blackbaud products? Please share your expertise with me!

    We do not use the web module either, but we can still use the Event Registration feature in Enrollment Management. We do not have ALL of the features, but it works. It might be worth a look. However, my word of caution is that it forces you process students with a checklist. Therefore, we have created a "dummy" checklist when we are not ready for that step. In your case, you probably will not want one.

    @Carlene Johnson We have School Website with event “Registration Forms & Attendees" which requires advanced-level, if/then thinking to use, so it's virtually impossible to hand off to faculty or division assistants. And the user experience is clunky, to boot. Big yuck all around! Like you, I'm looking for third-party options.

    Though not ideal, I've found a way to leverage Google Forms to manage simple, one-fee per registrant events. It requires a bit of acrobatics to guide users away the G-Form to a pre-set checkout page with the fixed price and send them back to the form to submit it, but our parents have picked it up with no hiccups. I'm happy to share my G-form setup if you're interested.

    I'm trying to find time to investigate “RSVPify” for our Alumnae Weekend. The event spans three days with multiple sub-events. Some allow guests, meal selections and various price points. Lots of if/thens! Make no mistake, BB Registration can handle all of these things. My issue is it's a giant time suck and brain drain that I can't hand off because nothing about it is intuitive. [Are you listening, Blackbaud?!]

    What options have you found in your research?
