  • @Sylvia Cook Great question! This out of balance is only temporary and is normal. If the Do Not Post Adjustment is outstanding, that will be your out of balance to GL. Once these are cleared, that out of balance will go away.

  • @Mark Eisinger Thanks Mark. I have reconciled and it is doing as I hoped.

  • @Tom Pilon
I hear your concerns and I've passed them along to your customer success team.

This has happened again!!! I now have entries between 11.15 & 11.21 that have not posted to the register. What is going on?

    Hi everyone,

    Update:

We are aware that between October 27 and November 3, 2022, a subset of Financial Edge NXT® customers experienced an issue that resulted in bank adjustments not being created by batches posted in Financial Edge NXT web view. This issue was caused by an update pushed on Oct. 27 which was resolved on Nov. 4; however, bank adjustments, from October 27 through November 3 did not create and post which may affect reconciliations of customers who were affected.

In order to rectify this issue, on January 13, 2023, beginning at 10 p.m. ET we will push an update to your solution to correct this issue, allowing the intended bank adjustments to create, post, and reconcile. The update should be completed by 10 p.m. ET on January 15.

If you have already corrected the issue, or plan to manually correct the issue before January 13 following the steps in Knowledgebase article 200580, there is no action you need to take, the update will exclude manually corrected transactions.

The new update being pushed will create adjustments for posted batches posted between Oct. 27, 2022 – Nov. 3, 2022 that had the Create bank adjustment box checked but did not generate adjustments. After the upgrade these created adjustments will:

    · Match the post status of the batch which is posted.

    · Be automatically marked as "cleared" in the bank register.

    · Have a note of "Adjustment created from Batch {BATCH#} BB Correction for Knowledgebase 200580"

Please be aware that the information above was also communicated via email to affected organizations.

If you have further questions, kindly reach out to Support.

    Thank you

    Regina

  • @Regina Okonkwo Just to clarify, are you saying this update will take 2 days (1/13-1/15) to complete? I'm catching up on reconciliations (was out for surgery), so if this won't be done until the 15th I may just do the manual entries. Or will that mess up this update? Thanks!

  • @Regina Okonkwo So now the “patch” that was pushed on Jan 15 if giving an incorrect reconciliation balance for November. The entries are showing up on the reconciliation module as “cleared” (October) but the amount is adjusting the current reconciliation (November) number. As a result, the month is out of balance as the reconciliation is calculating the amount that was cleared by the patch. Any ideas on what to do? Do I uncleared the October entries on the reconciliation module? Do I have to do that every time?

@susan correa Hi Susan, apologies for the challenges. Please create a support case to enable our team investigate this further.

    Thank you

  • @susan correa Where you able to resolve this issue? I am running into this issue also, but only on one of the transactions that I had created an adjustment for.
