Does anyone use Venmo to accept donations? 


What is the easiest way to go about it?  Do you set up an account with Venmo and they would search for you to make a donation?  Can donations be made thru online donation forms thru venmo?

    Venmo apparently was beta-testing giving with non-profits a few years ago, but right now (and for at least a year or two) Venmo is not open to non-profits.


    Here's the latest on their site:  Venmo General Business & Partnership Inquiries


    I'm not sure if there are any third-party processors who could work around this or not...

    We opened a free account with Givebutter, which accepts PayPal and Venmo, and created a general campaign page which is linked on our main donation pages. Donors now have the option to click the link and be redirected to that page if they want to give via PayPal/Venmo.

    Do you have any experience with using ApplePay as opposed to Venmo? I am trying to research ways of giving and I was curious if you have any thoughts? Also, with Venmo does givebutter supply you with a report of donor information for those that give via Venmo?

    @Potique Johnson - If you are interested in providing PayPal/Venmo as a payment option to your donors via Blackbaud donation forms, you can enable an integration to PayPal within BBMS. Here's a KB Article with more information on how to accomplish this:
