Adding a signature on a form through an Event

We need to have Waiver Forms signed for an on-campus event to cover us for insurance. Is there a way that this can be done? We are requiring them to put their name down, but anyone can do that by signing someone up for the event.

  • @Marsha Wynn I don't have an answer, but I am hoping to hear how other people are handling waivers online. We are setting up Summer Camp and need to have a waiver signed.

  • @Marsha Wynn,

Below is a basic outline of the steps required to create the waiver for program events

    1. Go to the “Tickets” module
    2. Select “Manage Registration Options” under “Configuration"
    3. Add your “Section” // Example: "Photography Waiver"
    4. Under “Registration Information” you can build a question or post a notice.
    5. After these steps are complete, you would be able to add your waiver to any program events under “Registration Options”
  • @Kelli Everett we do not have the “tickets” module. I did however, talk to my IT Manager and he gave me a Power Automate flow that generates 2x per day checking to see if someone has registered and if “Waiver sent” participant option is listed. If not, it sends an “Adobe” Waiver of Liability template to them. Once they sign that it marks the participant record with “Waiver Received” = yes, and places the signed document in their constituent attachments.
