NXT Work Center "Tags"

Hi ! I have good experience in RE Classic but new to NXT. I really like the use of "Tags" in the Work Center for Gift Officers' reminders, but I'm reading that these cannot be edited by the nonprofit. Can someone confirm this? if so, this is so dissapointing. If so, has anyone done any workarounds for a similar automation? Could "Score-O-Matic" possibly do something like this? Thanks for any thoughts!

@Marc Goldstick RE NXT Tags are built into the system and cannot be changed or edited.

  • @Marc Goldstick Hi! When we converted to RE NXT in 2018 we were told “Tags are the future!” and we were really excited. We looked forward to the time when we could customize them, build our own, customize the rules that changed them, etc. Five years later and they've pretty much been forgotten.

We have ScoreOMatic for database view (not sure if there is a version for NXT) and it can do things like tag people with notes or attributes, and, yes, make scores based on how many times records appear in a single or multiple queries. As long as you have defined queries which you can use to find constituents in each tag category then, yeah, you could add and change those values with ScoreOMatic.

@Marc Goldstick In RE NXT go the question mark symbol in the top right hand corner and type Tags in the search bar. I will show you the tags and definitions.

Vote here to add that in the “future” to NXT.

@Marc Goldstick - As others have said, the Tags are non-editable for orgs - system generated only. You should take a look at Red Arc's engagement tile, it may do a bit of what is currently lacking within the system it's self - sounds similar to the Score-O-Matic but it is connected through Web View.
