Around 3 p.m. - Trying to Reconnect to Citrix

Daily this happens…drives me nuts ?. This was never an issue before joining up with NXT….ugh! I know I can't be the only one this happens to, correct?

    I don't know when it happens for me, but anecdotally, it is random throughout the day. I've been in NXT for awhile too, so I don't think that is the issue. I think you were unfortunate to move to NXT when connectivity issues at Blackbaud seem to have become worse.

  • @Karen Diener agree. Citrix is a frustration that comes with database view, and hence, NXT. Not much you can do to “fix” any issues as they are innate with the product.

    If anyone has any other ideas, please help the masses!

    @Jennifer Branstrom, NXT is often a love-hate relationship! It doesn't happen to us daily, but every couple of weeks probably. I just give it a couple minutes and then retry. It always picks back up exactly where I was, so no loss of data. Gives me time to check my emails, or wander around in the Community. ?

    Happens to me, too. Ever notice that it is worse just before/after a big holiday? It makes sense that it often occurs in the afternoon which would be when there are the max number of users across the country. Try to run your big projects (exports, global changes, etc) in the morning so as not to get caught in the afternoon clogging of the internet. Hope this helps!
