Need Search/Duplicate check for Applicant Contacts

Currently there is no simple way to search for Applicant Contacts and run a duplicate check. Also would like to see a way to prevent Applicant Contact registered in portal from applying to more than one organization. Experienced an Applicant contact applying to two different organizations in two different grant cycles.

    @Mary Vagnone Hi there, we had an advanced search created for us by Kim Hook that we have as a saved search which might help you - we have this built with a saved view layout also that brings in the contacts active status, full name, organisation name, email, office address etc & post code area.

    We use it to scan down a spot possible duplicates - obvious ones are when they are still with the same organisation, but if they have changed organisation I tend to then judge it by the organisation location, if they are in the same area I tend to think they are the same person (If i'm really not sure then I leave it alone!)

    @Louisa Robinson Thank you but I don't think this will work if the applicant contact is not a contact in the system, which is a case for a number of our applicant accounts
