EFT payments for Canadian Users

Doing EFT payments in NXT for Canadian users is/was not possible and has been something we have been asking for. I noticed a few weeks back that EFT shows up in the list for payment options now. I don't know if this means we are good to use it or not.

Have any Canadian NXT users tried the EFT process yet?

Did you need to do a test file to test the file at the bank?

What file format is the file in?

Does it email remittances automatically?

    @Sylvia Cook the format is based on what you set up in the EFT General settings in the bank ( currently still only editable in DB view). The EFT Email remittance is not automatic. You have to 1. get the email address and add that to the vendor's record. On contact type, choose eft email and enter their email. Then when processing the actual eft in NXT, you click the button to show the fly out menu , and choose EFT Remittance. That will give you a pop up screen of all vendors getting an eft in the file you're producing and give you a last minute opportunity to see / edit their email addresses for the email notification.
