New assessment features missing detailed question breakdown

Lots of great features with the new assessment that are fantastic. One that I am sorely missing is the Detailed Questions Breakdown from the old assessment which shows how many students got which questions correct and incorrect. That was incredibly valuable as a teaching tool to determine topics for reteach. Can this feature please be added to the new assessment?

  • @Meghan Buckley my faculty have also missed the questions breakdown. I am really hoping that this is still in the works for the new assessment!

  • @Meghan Buckley Yep. We're missing it too. It's in the works!

@Meghan Buckley - Mike Morrissette the Product Manager for LMS just posted the below message on the Idea that Megan linked.

    Hey Folks -

Just a quick update on this item. So long as everything goes according to plan, you should begin to see a Detailed Breakdown for our new assessment experience going live next week. What you'll see next week will not be the full experience, rather as we get pieces of the reporting constructed, we'll implement them in batches into the product.

The first wave of analytics you'll receive are things like an average score, average time taken, median score, etc. You'll also get a score distribution graph, which maps out the range of final scores. In a future release, you'll also be able to see how individual questions performed.

We're excited to get this out to all of you, and let us know what feedback you have once the first wave is made live.

@Meghan Buckley Yes! I'll actually include a sneak peek of what you can expect in the near future:

The first two boxes at the top are what will hopefully be implemented in our next release. The Question insights and Question breakdown boxes will be implemented in the near future. The Question breakdown graph will also allow teachers to drill into each question to get some more bespoke analytics.

More to come, but hopefully this gives you something to look forward to!

  • @Michael Morrissette Amazing! Thank you so much, I (and I'm sure many others) are very much looking forward to getting access to these valuable features!
