Information Source in Add an Individual

When you Add an Individual in BB CRM there is field entitled Informaiton Source which I would like to use. Does anyone know how to access it within a query? One suggestion was that it was the same as the Origin value within the History tab but this does not appear to be the case.

I am new to this forum so please forgive me if this somewhat “minor” problem….I have been looking for this field for a while now so would appreciate any help ….

    In query, there is a field titled Information source for each table. Some tables have both Information source and Information source comments. We use the information source and have created a code table for the values to be added. The information source has is also a required field when adding a new information.     Thank you so much Lorraine, I am missing something here still for I can find the information source for address, phone etc but when you add new individual there is an information source field there also…this is the one I am looking for….

    @Judy Kavanagh, the Information Source under primary contact source uses the same information source code table as address, phone, etc. The code table would need to contain the information you're looking to add to this field. This title of the field is a bit misleading in my opinion. Our table includes self-reported, research, etc. Reach out if you'd like to chat further. Make it a great day, Lorraine

    @Judy Kavanagh In query, try the Origination node > Constituent Source field. We have customized our Add Constituent forms, but I'm pretty sure that the OOB form does not populate the Information Source entered in the add form onto the constituent origination, only onto the contact info. That's one of the reasons we customized the form. Seems pretty fundamental that you would want a source and comments on the constituent itself, but that is not how BB built it, so we added that feature a couple of years ago.

    @Lorraine Ollson It doesn't go on the individual. That field is used to add Information Source to the contact information.
