Help building an Action Report/

Hi all,

I need to do an ongoing report for my fundraisers based on the date an action was completed, rather than the date the action was entered.  The standard action report under Reports in NXT would be ideal, as it is visually exactly what we need, but I don't think I can filter it on completed date.   


I know I can pull the list of these actions pretty easily in database view, but I wanted a report in NXT so that my entire team can view it on demand.  


Would appreciate any suggestions!

  • Try recreating the desired action report in Analysis -> Report Builder.  Once you pull an insight into the new report, you can pick "edit properties" and change the insight to be based on the date the action was completed rather than the action date field.

  • It worked perfectly, thank you. Took me some time as my reports were being a bit quirky today - they all disappeared for a couple of hours, but they are back, and this one is great now.

    Aldera is the one who made it, I had just shared a trick for her for how to change the insight to look at action completed date instead of action date. But I'm happy to answer questions you may have if you want to shoot over an email. laura.easterly@usafa.org
