Adding a Thank you letter

Very New to NXT we are just checking ways to add a Thank you letter for a donation. Can this be done within NXT default system or do we have to use one of the add-ons. Basically just std template to be emailed within NXT or posted. Thanks

    @Mandy Griffiths I do not think you can do an ACK letter from RE NXT without an add-on like Red Arc Letter Box.

    Just to be clear, there is no way to do this in the webview version of NXT without introducing a third-party product. You can always export data from the database view version and do a mail merge.

    @Mandy Griffiths do you mean adding a drop down value in the letter field in gift db view? If so, you can type the name into the field and tab out. Assuming you have the security rights to add code tables. If you mean, generating a physical letter out of RE that’s what will require either exporting data via a csv file or a third party entity like letterbox (red arc) or receipter pro.
