Add Attribute Category to a phone record type

Hi all!

We are trying to add an attribute category related to the phone record type, but we don't have phone as an option. Is there any way to add the phone record type in order to add a new field to that section?

    No, attributes are limited to the record types available which doesn't include phone. The closest is Constituent, but wouldn't really achieve what you are after.

    A customisation would therefore be required rather than being able to do this via an attribute.

    Perhaps someone else on the community has done a similar customisation?
