Twenty year donor list

We are celebrating our 20th anniversary and I need to run a list of every donor that gave (in any capacity) over the last twenty years? I don't want a huge list of repeat gifts or repeat names, just if they gave at any time, they will make the list. Any suggestions?

@Molly Kinnison Use constituent query to create your group of donors. Summary data (near bottom of list) either Total amount of gifts say greater than or equal to $1 or Total Number of gifts greater than or equal to one. Which ever summary you use, you can put a range in for gift date if needed or filter on the type of gifts (only include $ received vs. pledges).

If you haven't done much with creating queries, I strongly recommend training so you can understand the criteria and how to use to pull what you want.

Take that query to the Export function to create your list for mailing/emailing/texting.

@Molly Kinnison I would also add to JoAnn and make sure your query options you credit soft credits to BOTH, especially since today many folks give thru Donor Advisor Funds and their companies as well.

@Molly Kinnison, @JoAnn Strommen's excellent method is the one I would use, except I would suggest using Total Number of Gifts ≥ 1 so you can catch any in-kind donors whose gift amounts are zero.
