Go and click on your name at the top and select “Settings”

Then on the settings page, click “Notifications” on the left. You can input your email and phone number and choose to receive both when messages are sent to you!

  • @Courtney Stern Very simple, thank you Courtney!

  • @Courtney Stern I am new to Blackbaud and am trying to clarify something. When it says notifications, does it mean that it sends a text or email that says “You have received a notification” and then the person has to go into blackbaud to their inbox there to see the actual content of the notification? Or does it send a notification with the content directly to their phone or personal email inbox? For example: Baseball sends a notification that says game is canceled. Does the parent get a text that says Game canceled or do they get a text that says you have an athletics notification, directing them to their inbox within Blackbaud? Thanks!

  • @Jenny Jackson I'm not certain about the texts, but I'm sure there are other users who can confirm. I do know that the email notification sends the complete text of the message to the user's email. The email notification comes from a blackbaud sender, so users cannot reply directly to that email notification, but they receive the complete text, not just a “you have a message” notification.

  • @Jenny Jackson Hi! Welcome! The email notifications often include the messages and you can customize notifications for activities, athletics, etc. Go to Extracurricular - communication - notifications. Same for academics! Hope this helps!

  • @Shannon Krise You can customize notifications for pretty much everything. Go to Extracurricular or Academics - communication - notifications. Hope this helps!
