Grade Check

@Carol Curry - There are two standard reports - “Missing Assignments - By Student” and “Late - By Student” but these may only be run from their location within the application - which is the grade book. So these do not get you around the issue of having to open each grade book. I do not know of an easily accessible report that lets you filter on grade book indicators for an entire division.

A workaround we have used that solves part of this problem for our academic support team is setting up an Academic Support advisory. This advisory is populated with all the students who receive academic support services. The director of the program is the advisor. When the director goes into the advisory and looks at the roster, there is a button to the top left MISSING ASSIGNMENTS. If you click this button, all of the students in the advisory who are missing an assignment are listed. You can expand each student to see the missing assignment. This list is exportable. I believe this only works for missing assignments and not for late assignments. I should also note that we turned off Group Page Access for everyone in this advisory except for the advisor.

The community has been asking for this type of list for a long time. John Simpson posted it to the idea bank on October 13, 2021 but it has not gained much traction. If you would like to vote for the idea, here is the link:
