Is it possible to make a plugin or some form of automated system to put an Outlook email in to a record as an action or attachment?

Hey team! Mostly spitballing an idea here, I'm not 100% certain that it would be possible.

Outlook has many applications with plugins that allow users to streamline tasks (the one I'm thinking of off the top of my head is the plugin that allows an Outlook email to be ported to Asana as a task). I believe they're called add-ins?

Would it be possible to create an add-in that would allow end users to easily migrate an outlook email chain to a constituent record as an action or attachment? I found this article that makes it seem that add-in creations are possible, but I'm still so green when it comes to application/automation creation that I'm not sure how or where to start with getting the add-in to play nicely with NXT.

My thought would be a structure like this:

I follow the Heather McLean school of “write it out on paper”.

Would something like this be possible with the current API?

Thanks everyone! :)
