Gift Receipting : generating an updated receipt.... how to?

Hi all,

We are using RE NXT's Gift Receipting feature to send email receipts (the PDF) to donors. Sometimes we will need to correct information on a receipt after it has been generated and resent. For example, I need to update someone's name from their maiden name to their married name. However, when I hit “duplicate receipt” on their gift record, it sends the original PDF rather than creating a new one. Is there a way to re-generate these PDF receipts?

    I think that the easiest thing to do is going into database view, and mark the gift as not receipted (you cannot uncheck that in web view). Then in web view, you can generate a brand new receipt with the updated name. The duplicate receipt option does just that, creates the same receipt again. It won't update the receipt.
